[ to hiiragi, a show is a show. he's never had to look into the background because the stuff he knows offhand is typically what he needs to know: how popular it is, how much merch they should bring based on previous bands and how they did, ease or difficulty of getting all their stuff there, and so on.

[ okay, so it's not like he can tell hiiragi not to do the show. that'd probably be insane, right? but he can't exactly ignore what he's getting himself (more) into. ]

that place you're gonna play at is owned by another family

[ ah. well. it does give hiiragi pause. this version of life has been good to him. he values shizusumi and yuki both deeply. they're two of his three longest standing friends. he also can't do this without them. but suddenly when things might be unsafe for the others, he...hesitates.

except he already knows yuki would never cancel a show for a what-if. in a way, hiiragi is onboard with that. shizusumi...hiiragi isn't sure.

and that kind of hurts for a different reason.
