It's a no-brainer that physical closeness brings a certain sense of intimacy along with it. Even more than with holding hands or even embracing, though, actually carrying someone is a level above simple closeness. You're providing support - quite literally!

There's many reasons why you might have to hold a person in your arms or on your back like that: they're injured, you're faster and you both have to get away, you're trying to pull a particular spunky individual away from danger, you're teasing them, or you're just having fun. Whatever the reason may be now, you're carrying your significant other, your crush, or somebody you have some kind of feelings for or attraction to.

  1. Princess Carry: Aka bride carrying. Keep them safe in your arms, right by your chest.
  2. Piggy Back: You don't have to be a child to enjoy being carried on someone's back.
  3. Delicate: In order to make them feel delicate or hammer in their fragility, you'll scoop them up.
  4. Swoon: You can't help but notice how strong or handsome/beautiful they are when you're this close to them.
  5. Injured: Put that sprained ankle on the mend, whether you want to or not.
  6. Transportation: Let them be your beast of burden.
  7. Tired: They're too tuckered out to walk. Good thing they look so cute and peaceful.
